One of the biggest moments of last week in wrestling was the reunion of Bullet Club on AEW Dynamite. It was the first time the Good Brothers had reunited with The Elite since 2016 and it has made a hell of an impact.
Now, Don Callis has said that they came up with the idea for the angle in December 2019. He and Kenny Omega came up with the idea during the Christmas holiday in 2019 and according to Callis it went exactly as planned. Here is the quote from Callis’ interview with Sitting Ringside with David Penzer, courtesy of Fightful:
“Kenny and I don’t come up with plans day-to-day. This whole thing that happened was visualized by us over one year ago, over the Christmas holiday in 2019. It played out exactly as we had envisioned and discussed it. While it was a huge surprise for people in the industry, for us it was just the culmination of things we’ve been talking about for some time. Things are not over yet.”
Kenny Omega and Bullet Club partners Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows will team up for Omega’s Impact in-ring debut at Hard to Kill this weekend.
