Another week, another edition of WWE Raw in the books. This was an interesting week as the show was turned upside down when it was revealed that Drew McIntyre had tested positive for COVID-19. As such there was little announced for the show ahead of time.
Now, the viewership has shown a drop from last week’s average. As reported by ShowBuzz Daily, Raw garnered an average of 1.82 million viewers for their January 11, 2021 episode. This is down pretty considerably from last week’s average of 2.13 million viewers.
Last week’s show was the Legends Night special which should be credited with the show’s highest rating in months. However, this week’s show was back to normal, dropping 301,000 viewers. The 18-49 demographic for this week was 0.70.
This week’s show did see the return of Triple H to the program. It was rumoured throughout the day that Triple H would be lacing up his boots to take on Randy Orton but instead, Orton caught a fireball in his face courtesy of Alexa Bliss.
There is still a couple of weeks until the Royal Rumble event as WWE continues to focus on building to the event on Raw.
