After WWE announced details for WrestleMania 37, 38 and 39, we might now have an idea where the 40th edition will be taking place.
To quickly recap:
- WrestleMania 37 will be held on April 10 and 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida
- WrestleMania 38 will be held on April 3, 2022 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas
- WrestleMania 39 will be held on April 2, 2023 at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that it was actually expected that Los Angeles – which originally should have been 2021 – would have been 2022, and then 2023 would have been in Las Vegas.
Obviously as you can see from the confirmed schedule that isn’t the case, but it does mean that if you’re thinking about potential venues for 2024, Vegas is probably top of the list for now.
Meltzer said:
“Everybody expected Los Angeles to be next year and they moved it to a year later. And then it was going to be Vegas, which I guess maybe Vegas will get the year after this.”
