A WWE NXT star has seemingly called out SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks for an intergender match after she beat Reginald last night.
Banks picked up the win over Carmella’s sommelier on SmackDown in the first WWE intergender singles match since 2017, and it seemed to catch Kushida’s attention.
After her victory, Banks tweeted:
Get used to me as a winner. Gender doesn’t matter when you’re a boss. #LegitBoss
Kushida, who looks to be in line for a shot at the NXT North American Championship, replied:
Interesting about that. [sic]
Banks then followed up by responding with:
Tell HunTAH to write me a check!
The match last night was thoroughly entertaining, and while the intergender wrestling debate likely won’t come to an end any time soon, the more they happen on a big stage, the less taboo the topic will become.
