There has been a big update on Triple H, after he wasn’t backstage at WWE shows last week following the NXT COVID-19 outbreak.
It was previously reported that Triple H was quarantining after a number of NXT competitors tested positive for COVID-19. As per a Dave Meltzer, Triple H is back in charge.
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer revealed that Triple H was back running the show for this week’s episode of NXT. No longer under quarantine, Triple H is leading the Black and Gold brand ahead of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
Here is the full quote:
“A lot of the people who were gone last week were back this week, including Paul Levesque (Triple H) backstage. He was running the show this week.”

On yesterday’s NXT, Shawn Michaels upped the stakes of the Cruiserweight Championship unification match, turning the TakeOver bout into a ladder match.
Elsewhere in NXT news, it was announced that an injured NXT star will be on the shelf for 6 months following a shoulder injury.
