Current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka has revealed that she underwent surgery last week following her recent injury.
Asuka was kicked in the face by Shayna Baszler on the February 22 Raw, and there was concern about a concussion but she returned to the show on March 15.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that she underwent oral surgery on her teeth on March 26.
She defends the Raw Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania, and will team with Ripley against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler on this coming Monday’s Raw.
