A recent social media post from WWE2K has hinted that we might get a first look at an upcoming WWE game during WrestleMania 37.
Good news for WWE gaming fans. WWE2K has teased a big announcement, and we won’t have to wait long to find out what it is.
Taking to Twitter, WWE2K advised fans to tune into WrestleMania this weekend for an interesting surprise. Promoting a “special announcement”, the WWE official game account tweeted:

It is believed that WWE will reveal their plans for WWE 2K22. WWE 2K20 was met with much disappointment after the 2019 release, with many glitches and limitations rendering the game “unplayable” for many.
After such a disastrous launch, WWE2K postponed plans for their traditional annual game last year, releasing WWE Battlegrounds in 2020 instead. Former Double Helix studio head Patrick Gilmore also took over WWE2K last year as the franchise announced a “renewed focus” on quality.
Also at WrestleMania 37, Rhea Ripley will challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship. In a WrestleTalk exclusive, Ripley revealed that she thought Charlotte Flair was going to be added to her upcoming title match.
