Another WWE Hall of Famer has confirmed his involvement for WrestleMania 37, revealing his role for this weekend’s 2-night event.
Booker T notably made an appearance at Royal Rumble in January, involving himself in a number of Bad Bunny segments. The 2-time Hall of Famer has now confirmed that he will be featured during this weekend’s WrestleMania shows.
Speaking with Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald, Booker T revealed that his WrestleMania duties extend further than the pre-show this year. He stated that he’s set to be a special guest commentator, but didn’t want to tell fans exactly when to expect the former champion to appear.
Here is the full quote:
“Well, I’m gonna be on the (preshow) panel and I’m also doing special guest commentary on one of the matches. I don’t wanna give away which match yet.”
Booker T acted as a special guest commentator during Rey Mysterio vs Samoa Joe at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. With Samoa Joe winning by submission in 1 minute flat, Booker T’s appearance was short and sweet.
The owner and trainer of Reality of Wrestling, Booker T recently celebrated the signing of his former student, AQA, to WWE. Now known as Zayda Ramier, the recent signee last wrestled in March, teaming with Gigi Dolin to take on Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell on NXT.
