After recently teasing his AEW debut, a former Lucha Underground Champion is set to compete on tonight’s episode of AEW Dark.
Marty Casaus (Marty “The Moth” Martinez) recently fuelled speculation that he was AEW-bound with an intriguing tweet. It has been officially announced that Casaus will make his first appearance for the company on AEW Dark.
AEW revealed that Casaus will battle Brian Cage in singles competition. This is Casaus’ first match in over 2 years. The match was announced on Twitter, along with a number of other scheduled bouts.

Casaus and Cage competed against one another numerous times on Lucha Underground. The Machine was involved in Casaus’ most recent match at IMACT United We Stand 2019. Cage is set to face Hangman Page on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite .
Casaus was side-lined with a spinal injury, but has been training at Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory since the beginning of March.
Lance Archer, SCU, Penelope Ford and The Dark Order are also set for action on AEW Dark. Here is the current line-up for tonight’s show:
