We heard a lot last week about the scrapped plans for SmackDown, with former NXT star Mia Yim’s first appearance since moving to Friday nights reportedly being scrapped, but it has emerged that Raw also underwent some changes.
PWInsider is reporting that Mansoor was set to appear on Monday Night Raw this week following his main roster debut last week, but the “creative changed” and those plans were dropped:
Mansoor was involved with Humberto Carrillo and Sheamus when he made his first appearance on Raw last week, but the Saudi Arabian Superstar was nowhere to be seen during the pair’s match this week.
As of right now, there is no word on how WWE is planning on using Mansoor moving forward, but with rumours suggesting Humberto Carrillo take some time off TV, WWE could always have him feud with Sheamus.
Speaking of Raw, some more information has emerged regarding NXT star Velveteen Dream reportedly being backstage at the show. You can read more about that report by clicking here.
