A new report has discussed the recent NXT releases, revealing the real reason that these talents were let go by WWE.
In the last few days, a number of Performance Center recruits were released by WWE. The Wrestling Observer has detailed the reasons for these WWE departures.
As per the most recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, performers were informed that these releases were due to budget cuts. It is being reported that there were no financial issues when the decisions were made.
The released performers were reportedly recruits who WWE didn’t believe could benefit the company, as well as individuals with disciplinary/attitude issues.
Velveteen Dream was one of the more notable releases, not showcased on NXT consistently since since allegations against him emerged last year. Recent reports regarding Referee Drake Wuertz painted Wuertz as a controversial talent prior to his release.
Jessamyn Duke was one of the more surprising names let go by WWE. The MMA Horsewoman stated that UpUpDownDown is still her home. Xavier Woods has recently clarified who owns UpUpDownDown.
