Dave Meltzer reported last night that Moose has signed a new contract with IMPACT Wrestling and would be staying with the company.
However, Moose took to Twitter yesterday to deny this report, simply stating that it’s “not true”.

Many initially speculated that Moose was going to be the man to take the IMPACT World Championship off Kenny Omega, but the fact that the former footballer is out of contract with IMPACT has thrown that into question.
This all comes after the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion teased joining WWE NXT on social media yesterday, which you can read more about by clicking here.
It’s always possible that Moose has actually re-signed with the company, but doesn’t want that information out there because status with IMPACT Wrestling could to play into a future storyline. For potential clarification, stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.
