A new report has provided more information on Chelsea Green’s surgery ahead of her WWE non-compete clause expiring.
It was previously reported that Chelsea Green had undergone surgery following her WWE release. As per Fightful Select, the medical procedure will not affect her plans to return to action.
It was reported that Green’s surgery involved the removal of the plate in her arm from her first break. Fightful Select stated that the recovery time is approximately 6 weeks, so all being well, Green will be healthy come July 15, when her non-compete clause reportedly expires.
WWE had reportedly advised Green to keep the plate in, but her bone had been swelling and rejecting the plate prior to the surgery.
Green was released from WWE last month, along with numerous other stars. She recently received a Cease & Desist over the name of her new podcast.
Green is reportedly in talks with IMPACT over a potential return. A Chelsea Green appearance has been teased in new Slammiversary 2021 advertisements.
