Braun Strowman has posted a cryptic message on social media about his future after being released by WWE earlier this week.
Strowman had reportedly been on a $1.2 million per year contract, which WWE deemed to be too much and let him go as part of the company’s ongoing cost cutting.
Now that a couple of days have passed, Strowman tweeted:
If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on now
‘Cause there’s too many places I’ve got to see!!!!
Those are song lyrics from Lynyrd Skynyrd, and seem to indicate that Strowman has a lot of things he wants to do now that he’s free from WWE contract.
The six talents released – Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riott, Santana Garrett and Murphy – are expected to be under 90-day non-compete clauses which expire at the start of September.
