More segments and matches have been announced for next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, including MVP’s return to action.
MVP has been out of action with a knee injury for most of 2021. On last night’s episode of SmackDown, it was announced that he will team with WWE Champion Bobby Lashley on Raw to take on Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods.
Kington will challenge Lashley for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank on July 18.MVP last wrestled in February as part of The Hurt Business.
It was also announced that Ricochet and John Morrison will once again do battle on Raw. Their match on the most recent episode ended with a double count-out.
An addition to these matches, Charlotte Flair will provide fans with a medical update after she was attacked by Rhea Ripley on Monday. She is currently set to challenge Ripley for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank.
A Money in the Bank Miz TV special is also scheduled for Raw, featuring Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, John Morrison, and Riddle.
On the July 2 episode of SmackDown, Zelina Vega made her WWE return, and was added to the women’s Money in the Bank match. Kevin Owens also qualified for the ladder match for the men’s briefcase.
More Money in the Bank qualifying matches were also announced for next week’s episode of SmackDown.
