All Elite Wrestling has announced more matches for the July 21 Fyter Fest special edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT.
Already announced a number of weeks in advance for next week’s show was Britt Baker defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against Nyla Rose.
Another championship match that was added last night will see Jon Moxley defend the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in a Texas Deathmatch against Lance Archer.
Moxley won the title from Archer in a Texas Deathmatch at Wrestle Kingdom in January 2020 so this is a callback to that, but this time it’ll actually be in Texas.
Orange Cassidy will also be in action as he faces The Blade, two weeks after Cassidy and Kris Statlander beat The Blade and The Bunny in a mixed tag match.
The only other match announced so far is the first chapter of the ‘5 Labours of Jericho’ on his mission to get a match with MJF.
Chapter 1 for Jericho will be a match against Shawn Spears next week, but the stipulation is that Spears can use a chair as a weapon during the match, but Jericho can’t.
This will be Jericho’s first match since Blood & Guts on May 5 where he dislocated his elbow on the fall from the cage.
