A new report has revealed that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has had more layoffs within corporate divisions of the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that WWE has let go corporate employees from departments including consumer product areas and marketing. The report noted that no talent cuts are expected during these particular layoffs.
Since the beginning of the year, WWE has given many former employees their marching orders. A lot of releases happened while the company was merging media departments.
Fightful Select also reported that several individuals who were let go within the last few months were told by people in the company that there’s a “good chance” they could be brought back in the future.
In a recent interview with Fightful, Mojo Rawley stated that he was “more or less” told that the door was open for him to return to WWE down the line.
