WWE has taken to its official website to announce that Omos will take on Riddle in singles action on the August 2 episode of Raw.
Omos is one half of the Raw Tag Team Champions with AJ Styles, and it looks like they’ll be defending against RK-Bro (Riddle and Randy Orton) at SummerSlam on August 21.
Orton has missed several weeks of WWE TV, but the Allstate Arena in Chicago – where Raw is taking place – is advertising that he’ll be at the show.
The card is always subject to change with such advertisements, so that’s not 100% confirmation of a return, but it would make sense given this match and the direction heading into SummerSlam.
WWE.com writes:
Bro… Riddle has a tall task ahead of him this Monday on Raw.
After falling victim to a Styles Clash courtesy of AJ Styles just moments after being defeated by John Morrison, Riddle will look to bounce back in a big way.
The Original Bro is set to go toe-to-toe with AJ’s colossal co-Raw Tag Team Champion, Omos.
Will Riddle have what it takes to slay the giant?
