IMPACT has officially announced Christian Cage’s first IMPACT World Championship match following his victory on AEW Rampage.
During the premiere (August 13) episode of AEW Rampage, Christian Cage defeated Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Title. It has been confirmed that Cage will defend his gold against Brian Myers at Emergence on August 20.
Myers had previously won a #1 contenders battle royal to earn an IMPACT World Championship match.

IMPACT has also revealed that Cage will appear in the Impact Zone during next week’s tapings.
After his title loss, Omega took to Twitter to comment on the situation. He will defend his AEW World Championship against Christian at All Out on September 5.
