During last night’s NXT, Timothy Thatcher was beaten in the first match of the show by Ridge Holland, which resulted in a post-match brawl.
Thatcher and his tag team partner Tommaso Ciampa tried to duel with Holland and Pete Dunne, but Oney Lorcan and a returning Danny Burch appeared to turn the numbers game into a 4-2 advantage against Thatcher and Ciampa.
Later on in the show, it was announced that Timothy Thatcher is now “out indefinitely” after the attack at the hands of Holland.
On next week’s show, Holland will face Ciampa, and he said that now he’s put Thatcher on the shelf, he’ll do the same to Ciampa next week.
There is no word on whether Thatcher is legitimately injured or absent for any other reason, or if this is purely just part of the storyline to get Holland over as someone capable of inflicting injuries.
