At WWE SummerSlam, Bobby Lashley retained his WWE Championship against Goldberg, when Goldberg was deemed unable to continue following an injury to his knee.
WWE posted a video on their Twitter today, where WWE cameras caught up to Goldberg for the first time since his loss at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
Goldberg claimed he has ligament damage following the match with Lashley, and he has pending knee surgery. Goldberg then explained that his son Gage’s shoulder is ‘all jacked up’ following Lashley’s assault on him after the match.
Goldberg then made the proclamation that he was no longer coming for the WWE Championship, rather Bobby Lashley’s soul, and threatened to rip it from his chest.
"I'm not coming for the WWE Championship. I'm coming for Bobby Lashley's SOUL and I will rip it straight from his chest."@Goldberg has a clear message for The All Mighty #WWEChampion @fightbobby following what happened to his son Gage at #SummerSlam. pic.twitter.com/cszXEDeFTj
