A new report has discussed backstage details about last night’s (September 20) edition of Raw, including when the final script was completed.
Monday’s edition of Raw didn’t just feature a New Day vs Bloodline tag match, WWE Champion Big E, Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and former WWE titleholder Bobby Lashley squared off in a three-way bout.
As per PWInsider, the final script for the show wasn’t delivered until 6pm ET. The show went on the air at 8pm ET. The report noted that while advertised matches remained the same, the order and flow of matches and segments was changed several times before the script was completed.
Before the episode, it was reported that if this week’s Raw draws an impressive viewership, WWE will consider more inter-brand events moving forward. The WWE Draft kicks off on the October 1 edition of SmackDown, finishing on the October 4 episode of Raw.
