Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston will face Minoru Suzuki & Lance Archer in a Philly Street Fight at NJPW Strong: Showdown next month.
At AEW Rampage Grand Slam, Moxley & Kingston defeated Suzuki-Gun in a Lights Out match, with an assist from Homicide. Following the bout, Suzuki and Archer demanded another match, this time in a NJPW ring.
The rematch was officially announced on the NJPW website, where it was revealed that a Philly Street Fight will take place on the October 17 taping in Philadelphia.
Moxley’s feud with Suzuki kicked off after the Japanese star confronted Moxley after his US Title match with Lance Archer at Wrestle Kingdom 14. In July, Archer defeated Moxley for the US Championship on Dynamite, before losing the gold to Hiroshi Tanahashi in August.
NJPW Strong tapings for the event take place across October 16 & 17. Will Ospreay vs Alex Zayne, and Jonathan Gresham vs Alex Coughlin have also been announced for the second night of tapings.
