WWE has announced that Sonya Deville will have her first match in 14 months on next week’s (October 15) episode of SmackDown.
Naomi and Sonya have been butting heads over the past few weeks, with Naomi accusing her of holding her back and not booking her to compete on the show, which Sonya claimed was because Naomi was unworthy.
On tonight’s show, Naomi asked Sonya why she wasn’t in the Queens Crown tournament, to which Sonya said that Naomi doesn’t deserve to be in the tournament, before saying that Naomi has a match next week against her.
This will be Deville’s first match since SummerSlam in 2020, when she lost to Mandy Rose in a loser leaves WWE match.
