Tony Khan has commented on the status of Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt), addressing speculation that Wyatt has had talks with Khan regarding an AEW deal.
During his appearance on WFAN‘s Moose & Maggie Show, Khan was asked about the possibility of former Universal Champion joining AEW.
Khan revealed that he hasn’t been in contact with Wyatt, despite knowing him in ‘personal life. Praising Wyatt’s wrestling ability, Khan said:
“He’s a great wrestler, and I have to be honest, we haven’t talked at all. I’ve known him in personal life, but in reality, we haven’t talked. But you never know.”
It was also recently rumored that Wyatt had been involved with serious negotiations with IMPACT Wrestling, however another report stated that there is currently no deal in place, or close, for Wyatt.
Wyatt’s former faction-mate, Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr), has reportedly had talks with both AEW and IMPACT in recent weeks.
