There has been some fan backlash following the announcement that AEW has partnered with Susan G Komen.
Noting that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, ShopAEW took to Twitter with photos of pink shirt designs, revealing that proceeds from these items will be donated to the Susan G Komen organization:

There has been controversy surrounding the organization in recent years. Susan G Komen benefits from corporate partnerships, and the organization has previously been accused of backing deceptive promotions that benefit the companies over the charity.
WWE first partnered with Susan G Komen in 2012 and would heavily promote the organization on TV, in addition to selling special pink merchandise.
A number of fans have criticised AEW for announcing their partnership, citing CM Punk’s 2015 tweet claiming the organization was a scam, which read:
“If you’re going to give money to a company that claims to raise money for finding a cure for cancer, please do some research. Komen is a scam”
Seemingly in response to the backlash, CM Punk has since taken to Twitter to note:

Punk has since replied to a Twitter user who retweeted his 2015 tweet, asking Punk to keep the same energy:
I always do, bitch.
