The newest very specific phrase from the Vince McMahon dictionary was revealed at last night’s WWE Day 1 show.
It appears that WWE will no longer be referring to it’s pay-per-view events as ‘pay-per-views’, as the commentary team made sure to refer to last night’s WWE Day 1 as a ‘Premium Live Event’.
WWE no longer using the ‘pay-per-view’ terminology makes sense, as the shows have not been on traditional pay-per-view for years. This is one of those things we just think is bad because it’s not what we are used to.
I do look forward to an exciting year of WWE Sports Entertainment Premium Live Events for the remainder of 2022, maybe I can watch them in my local medical facility with other fellow members of the WWE Universe.
