Josh Alexander has revealed that his contract with IMPACT Wrestling has now expired.
In October 2021, reports revealed that Alexander’s IMPACT deal was up in February 2022. The Canadian star has since taken to Twitter to reveal that his US work visa has expired, as he’s no longer under contract.
Unable to make his announced appearances for TERMINUS and AML Wrestling, Alexander tweeted:
“Today my contract expired & subsequently also US work visa.
“Unfortunately as a consequence I will not be able to honour my commitments to both @TERMINUSpro & @AMLWrestling later this month.
“I’m disappointed & I’m sorry.
“Hopefully I’ll have everything in order soon.
Alexander last wrestled for IMPACT during the late-January TV tapings. Alexander was recently namedropped on AEW TV, with Brandi Rhodes telling his former tag partner, Ethan Page, that they only signed him to get to Alexander.
The Walking Weapon was one of IMPACT’s top stars in 2021, defeating Christian Cage to win the IMPACT World Championship at Bound for Glory, before immediately losing the gold to Moose.
We will provide updates on Josh Alexander’s contract status as they become available.
