There is a new update on Miro regarding his absence from AEW television.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), the former TNT Champion was in New York working on a television product for a CBS pilot show.
Miro has also been doing film work during his time off from the ring.
His wife CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana, also has multiple upcoming television products.
God’s Favorite Champion has been out of action with a hamstring injury since last fall. He did return briefly to serve as a replacement in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament and face Bryan Danielson at Full Gear 2021.
As previously noted, Miro recently signed a long-term extension with All Elite Wrestling. His deal was set to expire in the spring of 2022.
