Don’t tempt Cody Rhodes to like something outlandish because he just might do it!
When one Twitter user @CCKAlexx posted an innocent tweet, he may have gotten a little more than he bargained for when Cody really took action.
Tweeting at the American Nightmare himself, the user wrote:
“If @CodyRhodes likes this, i’ll tattoo his logo on my finger”
Within moments, Cody had liked the tweet and the replies went wild with jokes but the original user isn’t worried, he’s excited noting that he already has the appointment scheduled.
Elsewhere on Twitter, Cody re-tweeted another fan’s photo of their American Nightmare logo tattoo so perhaps this is the next viral trend about to take off.
The American Nightmare is back in WWE after over six years away with WWE’s very own prodigal son returning at WrestleMania 38 to be the ‘mystery opponent’ against Seth Rollins.
Rhodes is scheduled to take on Rollins again at the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash event as recently announced on Monday Night Raw, in a continuation of their compelling feud.
While there was no substantive build in advance of their match-up at WrestleMania given the surprise element, wrestling fans may recall Rollins as one of ‘Dusty’s kids,’ who were mentored in NXT by Rhodes’ own father, Dusty Rhodes.
Cody shared in a post-event scrum that he had “hated” Dusty’s kids, so it was a good fit for Rollins to be his first opponent upon returning and further building towards a re-match with Rollins.
Cody Rhodes is currently undefeated since his return to WWE having bested Rollins at WrestleMania and emerging victorious over The Miz on this week’s edition of Raw.

Nice!
The Supes’ Dead version of the logo was pretty underrated imo https://t.co/Z9XtwIKgX6
