An update has emerged on Clash at the Castle ticket sales, following the pre-sale going live earlier today.
As of writing, pre-sale opened up for the Principality Stadium event almost nine hours ago. A lot of tickets are still available, reportedly to the surprise of WWE.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has noted that the event was not the instant sell-out expected, tweeting:
Cardiff was not the instant sellout expected. Not even close. So complaints about ticket prices were valid.
Seats on Ticketmaster currently range from £225 ($277) to just under £2000 ($2468), however tickets originally ranged from below £40 ($49) to way above £2263 ($2793), per the site.
There are at least 600 tickets available during pre-sale as of writing, which doesn’t appear to have tickets for every section available, ahead of general release on Friday
During the Q1 2022 earnings call on May 5, WWE President Nick Khan touted 85,000 pre-registrations for tickets, which the company had previously confirmed was a historic level of pre-sale interest.
Several top WWE stars have been advertised for the Premium Live Event, which you can read more about right here.
