Johnny Gargano hasn’t wrestled since his WWE departure in December and the birth of his and Candice LeRae’s first child in February.
Gargano left WWE upon the expiration of his contract rather than a release, and it was reported at the time that WWE actually really wanted to keep him.
Well, it seems like that might still be case, according the latest update provided by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Meltzer noted that both Gargano and LeRae are likely to return to the ring soon, and that Gargano has an “open door” to return to WWE should he want to.
The belief is that WWE would pay good money for Gargano, but of course the question is would he be happy with the level of push they’d probably want to give him.
That’s the decision Gargano would have to make, and we will of course keep you up to date as news comes to light when that happens.
