WWE is set to hold it’s Hell In A Cell premium live evnt today (June 5) in Chicago, Illinois.
This event comes just one week after AEW held it’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view in Las Vegas, which set the record for the largest gate in the history of the company.
However, per Dave Meltzer, tonight’s gate for the Hell In A Cell show is set to surpass that of AEW Double or Nothing, due to the price of ticket costs.
He tweeted:
Because of higher ticket prices, gate for sold out Hell in a Cell is slightly above that of Double or Nothing.
The main event of tonight’s show had some speculation regarding whether or not it would take place, as WWE announced an injury to Cody Rhodes at last night’s WWE live event. However, Rhodes has seemingly confirmed that he will be in action on the show.
