The latest change to the Forbidden Door card was announced last night, when it was announced that Hiromu Takahashi would miss the show due to having a fever.
Takahashi was set to be a part of an eight-man tag team match alongside Darby Allin, Sting & Shingo Takagi against the Bullet Club team of Hikuleo, El Phantasmo & the Young Bucks.
Takahashi took to Twitter last night to comment on him missing the show, as well as sharing a photo of the special AEW ring gear he had made for the show.
He said:
I can’t do it… sorry everyone Especially @Hiku_Leo なんなのこの時代…元気だよ…行きたかった。悔しい!!
The eight-man tag team match has now been changed to a trios match, with Hikuleo simply accompanying the Bullet Club team rather than being in the match.
I can’t do it… sorry everyone😭
