An update has emerged on plans for Edge’s WWE return, after he was kicked out of his Judgment Day faction.
Edge hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since he was attacked by Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest on the June 6 edition of WWE Raw.
Eerie vignettes have been airing since Money in the Bank, appearing to point to the return of the Rated-R Superstar.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE has internal plans to bring Edge in for the July 25 Madison Square Garden WWE Raw taping.
It wasn’t confirmed whether or not the plan is for Edge to appear on the actual episode.
That show will notably be the Red Brand’s go-home show for SummerSlam, which will air from Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on July 30. As of writing, WWE hasn’t announced Edge for the Biggest Party of the Summer.
The main event of SummerSlam will see Roman Reigns defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing bout.

Edge last wrestled at Hell in a Cell, picking up a victory over AJ Styles, Finn Balor & Liv Morgan alongside Rhea Ripley & Damian Priest. Stay up to date with WWE win/loss records for 2022 using our tracker at this link.
