Liv Morgan came to WWE SmackDown to address her controversial victory at SummerSlam against Ronda Rousey and had an in-ring promo segment.
The Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina communicated their feeling about the fallout from SummerSlam as at one point they chanted at Morgan, “you tapped out” and later during the gauntlet match, chating for Ronda Rousey.
Morgan handled the moment gracefully, noting a thank you to the crowd saying, “I appreciate you all calling me out on my s**t.”
While fans seem quick to be reactive online, there doesn’t seem to be any clear reason why Liv Morgan needs to now immediately turn heel, unless of course that is something you have been looking forward to anyway.
One such hopeful emerged on Twitter, Rhea Ripley from WWE Raw’s faction, The Judgment Day who popped by to Tweet:
“The @WWE Universe booing @YaOnlyLivvOnce… Fickle. Liv there’s still room if you decide to stop caring about everyone’s opinion. #JoinUs #TheJudgmentDay #WWESmackdown”
By the end of a massive gauntlet match, an opponent was revealed for Liv Morgan at Clash at the Castle.
