**UPDATE: PWInsider has since posted a follow up story reporting that Toxic Attraction will participate in the tournament, replacing Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons**
With the Triple H era of WWE now in full swing, many former WWE stars have made their returns to the company as Triple H continues to bolster the roster.
Another way to bolster the roster is with calling up names from NXT, which we have already seen with IYO SKY, and seem set to see with Santos Escobar following his defeat at NXT Heatwave.
Per PWInsider, we may be set to see more NXT stars on tonight’s show, as NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction are set to be present at tonight’s SmackDown tapings in Montreal, and there had been discussions of the trio coming in 24 hours ago.
It is worth noting that this doesn’t necessarily mean the trio are set to be called up, as Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons from NXT will also be on the show, and Stark recently challenged Rose for the title at NXT Heatwave.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown is set to be the 1200th episode of the show since it debuted in 1999.
If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
