As we approach the three year mark for All Elite Wrestling, several of the stars who were signed to the company when it first launched have departed the company due to contract expiration.
Aside from the rather large obvious name, stars like Jack Evans, Joey Janela and Marko Stunt have not seen their contracts renewed, but perhaps the most shocking of the names was former Dark Order member Stu Grayson.
Stu Grayson departed the company after he couldn’t agree with the company on an extension, and has since been making appearances on the independent wrestling scene.
Grayson took on one of AEW’s most popular stars, Eddie Kingston, at a C*4 Wrestling event last night, and after the match Kingston addressed the crowd, putting over Grayson and saying that ‘everyone will regret’ doubting him.
He said:
“Don’t thank me, thank this man right here. God damn, Stu, one day, everyone is going to regret doubting you one day. I hope it’s tonight…”
Grayson’s former Dark Order stablemates are set to be a part of the ongoing AEW Trios Championship tournament, taking on the House of Black in the opening round.
