The viewership figure and demo rating for Friday’s (August 26) edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX has been revealed.
Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, SmackDown drew 1.990 million viewers. This is down from the August 19 edition that drew 2.084 million viewers.
One of the main reason for the decline in total viewership was due to the show being pre-empted in a few markets for the third consecutive week for the NFL preseason coverage.
In the 18-49 demographic, Friday’s show scored 0.48 rating. This is up from the week prior that scored 0.47 rating.
This episode ranked #1 in the demo among broadcast primetime and cable originals.
The show featured Drew McIntyre defeating Sami Zayn in the main event and the post match with The Bloodline beating down McIntyre.
