Cody Rhodes has shown off unused designs for merchandise for the September 3 Clash At The Castle event.
Rhodes is currently recovering from surgery to fix the torn pectoral muscle injury he suffered in June, ahead of the Hell in a Cell premium live event.
The former AEW Executive Vice President had initially been advertised for the recent UK stadium show, but was pulled from the show’s lineup following his injury.
On his Instagram story, Rhodes shared three custom American Nightmare logos featuring the Wales flag.
Commenting on the chants for him at the Cardiff event, Rhodes wrote:
“I heard you Cardiff…loud and clear…made my day (here’s some unused designs for the shirt I woulda’ had at the event. Let’s save it for next time) – I can’t wait to be back”
It was reported in August that Rhodes recovery is going well, and there have been no complications in Rhodes’ rehab following his surgery. It is currently unclear when Rhodes will return to action.
