Former Raw Tag Team Champion Nicholas has reacted to Braun Strowman’s WWE return.
On the September 5 edition of WWE Raw, Strowman interrupted a tag-team fourway bout and laid waste to all eight competitors.
Strowman’s return was reminiscent of the Monster Among Men’s tag-team battle royal victory on the March 12, 2018 edition of Raw. With his victory, Strowman became the #1 contender for the Raw Tag Team Championship, without a partner.
At WrestleMania 34, Strowman teamed with Nicholas, a young fan he picked from the crowd, to defeat The Bar for the Raw Tag Team Title. The duo relinquished the gold the next night, due to a ‘scheduling conflict’, with Nicholas returning to school instead of joining WWE full-time.
Nicholas has now posted on Twitter for the first time in almost two years, sharing a photo of himself and Strowman. He captioned the photo with one emoji:

Nicholas is actually the son of WWE referee and talent relations name John Cone.
Strowman’s Raw return was his first WWE appearance since his June 2021 release. He hasn’t wrestled for the company since WrestleMania Backlash that May.
The former Universal Champion is set to appear on the September 9 edition of SmackDown.
