AEW has been riding a wave of momentum recently, with Dynamite ratings being up since All Out, the return of MJF and the curiosity following the backstage fight at All Out.
Nevertheless, AEW’s biggest Dynamite special of the year, Grand Slam, is set for next week at Arthur Ashe Stadium, with both Dynamite and a special two-hour episode of Rampage set to take place in the stadium.
While the Dynamite card has been announced, featuring five huge championship matches, the only match set for Rampage Grand Slam as of this writing is a tag team match, pitting Hook and Action Bronson against 2point0.
Ahead of tonight’s Rampage show, Tony Khan took to Twitter to advertise the show, and to announce that more matches for the Grand Slam special episode will be announced tonight.
Recently we’ve been on a great run on #AEWDynamite, a streak of great ratings + quality Dynamites going into Grand Slam! Tonight we’re back on #AEWRampage & will announce a full card for next week including exciting new matches we’ll add to next week’s 2 hour Grand Slam Rampage!
Tonight’s Rampage show is set to feature a ROH Television Championship match between Samoa Joe and Josh Woods, as well as Danhausen taking on Ethan Page, Darby Allin facing Matt Hardy and Penelope Ford battling Willow Nightingale.
