At AEW All Out, MJF made his big return to the company after being away since June, when he returned as the masked joker in the Casino Ladder match, seemingly aligning with Stokely Hathaway and his stable.
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF formally introduced his new best friend Stokely Hathaway, who then introduced Lee Moriarty, the Gunn Club, Ethan Page and W. Morrissey, with the group being dubbed ‘The Firm’.
The group was declared AEW’s first ‘stable on retainer’, with each individual member wanting something from AEW.
The group is set to be a key feature on AEW programming in the coming months, and Tony Khan has made sure to have the name on lock, as the company filed to trademark the term ‘The Firm’ on September 16 per the USPTO.
