A current WWE NXT star has undergone surgery for an injury that they have been working through for the past few weeks.
Tatum Paxley suffered a broken nose at an NXT live event, and she has been wrestling on episodes of NXT 2.0 since then with a mask on, similar to that worn by Sheamus last year when he had also broken his nose in a match with Humberto Carrillo.
Paxley took to Twitter today, showing off another bruise she has, this time on her thigh, as well as a picture of her nose post-surgery.
She then posted a follow up tweet, confirming that she was just out of surgery, and was on the road to healing her injury.
But fresh outta surgery! The healing process continues. Thankful for @javierbernalWWE for taking good care of me
Another NXT star was injured recently, with Tony D’Angelo suffering a knee injury on the September 27 episode of the show (which was taped two weeks prior). The incident made it into the final broadcast of the show, as his match with Wes Lee featured high stakes, a spot in the NXT North American Championship Ladder match at NXT Halloween Havoc.
Wes Lee won by stoppage, joining Carmelo Hayes and Oro Mensah in the match.
