This year’s version of the Extreme Rules premium live event is set to live up to it’s name, with every match on the show having a stipulation attached.
The show kicked off with a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match, pitting Sheamus, Butch and Ridge Holland against Gunther, Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser of Imperium in a Tornado six-man tag team match.
This is just 24 hours after Sheamus and Gunther went to war once again on SmackDown over the Intercontinental Championship, and a finish that was surrounded in controversy when Gunther appeared to submit to Sheamus’ Cloverleaf.
There was no such controversy on tonight’s show, as the two factions went to absolute war for over twenty minutes, weapons and all, before Sheamus pinned Vinci with a Brogue Kick to score the victory for the Brawling Brutes.
It was indeed banger, after banger, after banger, after banger, after banger, after… well you get the idea.
