There are now two Schiavone’s working for All Elite Wrestling, though only one of them will be seen on the television show.
AEW announcer Tony Schiavone has been with the company since it’s inception back in 2019, providing commentary for Dynamite and Rampage, as well as hosting various interview segments.
Well, he will now be working alongside his son Matt, as he and Aubrey Edwards revealed on this week’s AEW Unrestricted podcast that Matt Schiavone is now working as a producer for All Elite Wrestling.
Matt previously worked as a producer for FOX News, but started up with AEW at the most recent tapings in Jacksonville, Florida.
This will be the third Schiavone to be involved with AEW, as Tony’s son Chris was involved in a segment with his father, Paul Wight and the Factory on an episode of AEW Dynamite last year ahead of Wight’s match with QT Marshall at All Out.
Schiavone now shares interview responsibilities with Renee Paquette, who officially signed with AEW earlier this month ahead of the company’s first tour of Canada.
