An AEW star has discussed getting more comfortable on the microphone in the company.
Since his time on the independent scene, Wheeler Yuta has made a name for himself as a superb in-ring competitor.
After starting out with Best Friends, 2022 has seen the biggest year yet for Yuta in All Elite Wrestling where he officially aligned with the Blackpool Combat Club and won the ROH Pure Championship.
Speaking on the MackMania podcast, the Blackpool Combat Club member discussed improving his microphone skills and becoming more comfortable.
Yuta said:
“Just very recently, I’ve grabbed the microphone and started to have a lot more talking on the show and that’s something I’ve never…you don’t really do that on the independent scene.
“You just go along, have your match, and that’s it. I haven’t really done a lot of these interactions, especially not on this scale.”
Yuta continued on to talk about improving his skills and cutting more promos on television, saying:
“That’s definitely an area I can improve and I think I’ll get better at. I think you can see improvement in the few times that I have cut promos on TV. That’s certainly a big area I’d like to improve on and we’re getting there, we’re continuing to move forward there.”
Wheeler Yuta will compete on the November 8 edition of AEW Dark, teaming with Blackpool Combat Club stablemate Claudio Castagnoli against Cezar Bononi and Ryan Nemeth.
