The date and location for AEW’s first pay-per-view of 2023, Revolution, have now been revealed.
On November 19, AEW held its final pay-per-view event of the year, Full Gear. During the post-show media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that next year’s Revolution event is scheduled for March 5, 2023.
The show will emanate from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. This will be the first time that AEW has held an event at this venue.
Ahead of the pay-per-view, the go-home editions of Dynamite and Rampage will air from the The Cow Palace in Daly City, California on March 1 and 3 respectively.
The 2022 Revolution event took place on March 6 at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. The event was headlined by an AEW World Title bout, with Hangman Page defending his gold against Adam Cole.
Many also remember this event as the beginning of the Blackpool Combat Club, with William Regal making his AEW debut on the show and forcing Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley to shake hands following their bout.
In the main event of Saturday’s Full Gear event, MJF defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship, with an assist from William Regal.
MJF made an appearance during the post-show media scrum, which you can read about right here.
