Since the debut of AEW Dynamite back in October 2019, the show has largely looked the same.
This week, AEW made a backstage hire in former WWE name Michael Mansury, who will serve as the Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer in the company going forward.
Meltzer detailed in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the hire came as Tony Khan and WBD have decided to change up the look of the show.
The changes are set to come into effect in January.
He said:
The company made a major hire this week with Michael Mansury as the new Senior Vice President and co-Executive Producer (with Tony Khan) going forward. He started on this week’s television.

This week’s show was the company’s annual Winter is Coming special, which saw MJF retain the AEW World Championship against Ricky Starks.
