With Triple H taking over WWE creative back in July following the retirement of Vince McMahon, many former WWE stars have made their returns to the company.
On top of that, various wrestlers that had previously not been called up from NXT have found themselves on the main roster.
IYO SKY and Legado Del Fantasma are but a few stars who have moved up from NXT during Triple H’s tenure, but two more could be on their way.
Former two-time NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly lost their titles to the New Day back at NXT Deadline, and they may soon be on their way out of the Performance Center.
Per Mike Johnson in a PWInsider Q&A, there were reportedly rumblings after the pair lost their NXT Tag Team Championship that they would be getting a look at house shows in January.
He said:
There were rumblings right after Pretty Deadly lost the WWE NXT Tag Team titles that they could be getting a look and working some house shows in January, but beyond that, nothing that I am aware of.
New Day made the first defence of their new titles over Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen on last night’s (December 20) episode of NXT.
